New Moon in Cancer: You’re not lost. You’re just between shells

Cancer Season begins on June 20 and continues through July 22. This season is emotional, intuitive, maternal, and deeply sacred. It reminds us that home is not just a place, it is a feeling. It is a way of being in the world where you are allowed to be soft, to be real, and to be seen.

The New Moon in Cancer peaks on June 25 and arrives with a quiet kind of power. Not the kind that demands attention, but the kind that changes everything from the inside out. It calls us inward. It asks us to feel. And it reminds us that the most important transformations begin long before they are visible to anyone else.

Cancer is ruled by the Moon and symbolized by the crab, a creature who carries its home on its back. The crab lives in a hard shell, not because it is strong, but because it is so incredibly soft underneath. It builds this shell to survive. To stay safe in a world that can feel overwhelming. But here is what most people forget: the crab must leave that shell again and again in order to grow.

When the crab outgrows its shell, it has no choice but to shed it. There is no option to stay in what has become too tight. For a time, the crab is completely exposed. It is soft. It is vulnerable. And yet it walks forward anyway, trusting that it will find a new shell when it is ready.

That is where many of us are right now.

We are no longer comfortable in what once held us. We can feel that we are being asked to step into more of who we truly are. The old identity, the old ways of being, the old stories we told ourselves no longer feel aligned. But the next form has not fully arrived. And so we walk through the world exposed. We cry easily. We tire quickly. We feel like we do not quite belong in the life we have built.

This is not a step backward. This is part of the process.

The crab does not shed its shell because something is wrong. It sheds because growth is happening. It changes because staying in a shell that no longer fits would be more painful than the vulnerability of transitioning into something new.

We grow out of our shells in so many ways:

When we leave a job that once gave us purpose but now feels too small. When we let go of a title or role and wonder who we are without it. When we stop pretending everything is fine and finally tell the truth. When our children no longer need us in the way they once did, and we begin to rediscover the parts of ourselves that were paused. When we start to say no, even when it makes other people uncomfortable. When we decide that being seen fully is worth more than being liked.

I have lived through so many of these shedding seasons. I remember closing the doors to something I built with my whole heart and facing the uncertainty that came after. It reminds me of the final days of my pregnancy. I wasn’t miserable, but I knew I couldn’t stay in that form forever. My body had stretched beyond what it had ever held. My identity was softening, reshaping. I had outgrown that shell, even though it had carried me so far. I wasn’t who I had been, and I wasn’t yet a mother in the way I would become. That shell had to be released so a new one could form. It was scary and yet led to the greatest version of myself.

This space is sacred. It is not the end. It is the beginning.

The same is true for all of us.

This is the sacred in-between. The space where the next version of you is already forming, even if you cannot yet see it.

I just want to say this.

If you feel exposed, raw, or unsure of who you are becoming, you are not alone. You are growing. You are shedding. You are stretching toward something that your current shell cannot hold.

Trust this season. Let the tears come if they need to. Let yourself rest. Let yourself feel. You do not need to know what the next version of your life will look like. You only need to keep listening.

Your new shell is already forming.

I am in this moment right alongside you. I have been working on something that feels both new and ancient. It has asked more of me than I expected. It is requiring me to let go of old ways of being, old ways of teaching, and old ways of hiding. And what is coming feels more aligned, more embodied, and more alive than anything I have ever offered.

And I cannot wait to walk into what comes next with you.

I will be sharing more very soon…

Are you ready to Become Lucky?

Becoming Lucky isn’t a course in the traditional sense. It’s a meditation experience. A daily practice. A return. It’s designed to meet you where you are and gently guide you back to the part of you that already knows the way.

For 30 days, you’ll reconnect with your inner rhythm, reset your nervous system, and start to notice the small shifts that create big change. Not by efforting, but by softening. Not by pushing, but by tuning in. It’s about becoming more present, more magnetic, more you.

Because luck doesn’t arrive when everything is perfect. It unfolds when you’re aligned. When you’re clear. When you’re willing to listen.

This experience was created to help you remember that. And I’d love for you to be part of it.
